Motorcade and Display

Step back in time and experience the sights and sounds of history with the Southwick D-Day Revival’s Military Vehicle Motorcade & Display.

Witness an impressive convoy of restored World War II military vehicles as they roll through the historic village of Southwick, retracing the steps of the Allied forces who staged the D-Day landings from this very location.

Following the motorcade, get up close to a stunning collection of jeeps, trucks, armored vehicles, and wartime motorcycles on display.

Meet passionate re-enactors and vehicle owners who preserve these incredible machines, learn about their roles in the war effort, and immerse yourself in the living history of D-Day.

Event Marquee Talks and Performances

Each year Southwick Revival works hard to bring exciting speakers to our stage for your enjoyment! Entry into our guest speaker slots are included in our day admission ticket.

Please note this year there is no cost to attend the Marquee talks but spaces are on a first come, first served basis.

History Walking Tours

The Golden Lion Pub

Once serving as the Officers' Mess during the planning
of D-Day. Generals Eisenhower and Montgomery were often found here, making decisions that changed the course of history.

The pub retains its Tudor charm, with original fireplaces and historic memorabilia keep the spirit of the past alive, ensuring the legacy of June 1944 is never forgotten.

The Red Lion Pub

The Red Lion Southwick is a charming Grade II listed pub in the heart of this historic wartime village.

Rich in history, the pub once handed out free beer to troops heading to war and still raises a glass in their honor today. With a front terrace and a cozy courtyard garden, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a drink in the sunshine.
