Southwick Revival is a community-led charity event created and run by volunteers.
For one weekend, the village of Southwick comes alive with history, music, and shared stories.

Through immersive experiences, displays, music, and talks, it reflects on Southwick’s role in the planning of D-Day and the lives shaped by those decisions.

What’s Happening Across the Village

D-Day Map Room*

Step inside the room where Operation Overlord was planned.
See the invasion map up close and experience the strategy that shaped history. (ticketed event)

Fort Southwick Tunnels*

Descend into the hidden tunnels beneath the hill.
Explore the underground nerve centre that supported the D-Day landings. (ticketed event)

21st Army Group D-Day Camp

Wander through an authentic living history encampment in Place Woods. Experience daily camp life, equipment and demonstrations from 1944.

Historical Talks

Join expert historians and special guests in the event marquee. Uncover powerful stories and insights from the wartime years.

Live Entertainment

Music fills the village as marching bands lead a vibrant procession through Southwick. From colourful parades to live musical performances, entertainment continues throughout the day across the village.

Military Vehicle Display

Explore an impressive collection of restored wartime vehicles in the heart of the village. Meet the owners and discover the stories behind the machines.
