Welcome to the Southwick Revival

Across one unforgettable weekend, the village transforms into a living, moving tribute to the days leading up to D-Day.

From the very ground where Allied commanders once walked and planned, you’ll find stories unfolding around every corner, not behind glass, but all around you.

Wander through immersive living history displays, hear the sounds of wartime music drifting through the air, and experience powerful re-enactments that bring the past into sharp, human focus.

Step inside history with exclusive Map Room Tours at Southwick House, or venture underground into the Fort Southwick Tunnels for a rare glimpse into the hidden nerve centre of Operation Overlord.

Historic vehicles roll through the streets, period dress fills the village, and every detail works together to create something far more than an event… it’s a moment in time, carefully brought back to life.

With guest speakers, interactive experiences, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant programme running throughout the weekend, Southwick Revival offers something for everyone, whether you’re a lifelong history enthusiast or discovering these stories for the first time.

Southwick Revival is a community-led charity event created and run by volunteers.
For one weekend, the village of Southwick comes alive with history, music, and shared stories.

Through immersive experiences, displays, music, and talks, it reflects on Southwick’s role in the planning of D-Day and the lives shaped by those decisions.
