             by the RMVCC Band to Squire’s Paddock.

French Quarter 

Enjoy delicious French cuisine, try your hand at Pétanque, and soak up the lively atmosphere with authentic French music and Can-Can dancers!

A talented accordionist will serenade the day, while Pétanque games bring a touch of Provence to the festivities, all day long!

Walking History Tours: 
Guided tours of the village led by knowledgeable locals.

Musical Entertainment and delicious homemade food to eat in or take
 away. 
Squire’s Paddock:
Cadet Field Gun Runs, Period fun-fair, children’s activities, Focaccia

St James’ Church:
Children in war display, The Bedford Boys Story, Reading Force, and 
1940’s Wedding Dresses Display, and Tin Can Poppy making by Southwick Youth Club 
Village Recreation Ground:
Military Vehicles: British and Allied Forces, over 50 World 
War II vehicles, from motorbikes and the iconic Jeeps and iconic Spitfire replica. 
Red Lion Car Park:
Vintage style traders, entertainment and hot food. 
21st Army Group D Day Camp:
Visit the secret woods where Monty’s army prepared for D-
Day.
Take part in briefings and exercises in preparation for Operation Overlord.
Add on experience £10 per Adult, £5 per child payment at bus stop in cash or card.
Free shuttle bus to the camp runs from 10:30 
Drove Road Stalls:
Selection of vintage traders. An Aladdin’s cave of wonders. 
D-Day Memorial Hall:
Mother Attwell’s 1940’s Tearoom. Home baked cakes, teas, and 
coffees.   
Event Marquee Field:
Including the Dig For Victory and Land Army, Crescent Spoon, and Poppy’s 
Tea Room. Please note this year there is no
cost to attend the Marquee talks but spaces
 
are on a first come, first served basis.  
12 High Street:
1940’s Hairdressers – charges apply. 
The French Quarter:
Pétanque, French Food, 
Can Can dancers and French music. 
Old Schoolhouse, West Street:
Code Breaking School running daily 10:30 – 3:30pm.
